CNRS campus, Gif-sur-Yvette, France
18-20 September 2019
Organizers
Antoine Browaeys, Thierry Lahaye & Igor Ferrier-Barbut (Institut d’Optique, CNRS, France), Francesca Ferlaino (Univ. Innsbruck), Robert Loew (Univ. Stuttgart).
Description and Goals
We continue our series of (almost…) yearly meetings on “Longrange interactions in the cold and ultra-cold” and organize a new session in September 2019. The workshop will be an opportunity to discuss recent advances on the physics of Rydberg atoms, magnetic atoms, dipolar molecules, light-induced dipoles, trapped ions and dipolar interactions between artificial atoms. Given how fast this field is expanding, we feel important that experts in the field meet and exchange ideas.
The meeting will take place on the CNRS campus in Gif-sur-Yvette (France) from the 18th to the 20th of September 2019. We are aiming for about 55 participants. The registration form is at the bottom of this page. Deadline: July 15th 2019.
