At the microscopic and nanometric scales, the light-matter interaction offers a wide range of astonishing effects. The NanoPhotonIQ group brings together specialists in non-linear and quantum optics, optomechanics, neuromimetic photonics and nanotechnology (design, manufacturing and characterization) that study light-matter interaction in hybrid, coupled and active systems. They include photonic crystals and different photonic arrays of micropilters, guides or nanocavities. A resume of the activities of the NanoPhoton IQ group:
– Atomic and nanophotonic coupling
– Photon triplet generation, three-particle entangled states
– Quantum platforms based on III-V, Si-coupled guides, Lithium Niobate
– Emission statistics of photonic crystal sources and coupled cavities
