The Nanophotonique team is working mainly along two lines: the development of innovative photon source based on sp2 carbon structures (JS Lauret) and optical levitation of nanoparticle in vacuum (L. Rondin)
Present research activities are:
- Synthesis and optical studies of carbon nanotube core-shell structures, with emission in the telecom range.
- Graphene quantum dot for single photons emission.
- Optical levitation and control of a nanoparticle for the study of stochastic and quantum thermodynamics.
