Non Linear Materials and Applications (MANOLIA)
Responsable : Philippe DELAYE
Laboratoire Charles Fabry
The MANOLIA group is interested in the physics of nonlinear mechanisms and their applications to classical and quantum information processing.
We are particularly interested in the reinforcement and control of nonlinear interactions in nanostructured materials (photonic crystal fibers, nanofibers, integrated components on SOI platform, …).
Those nonlinear materials are optimized according to the targeted applications, related to the multimodal processing of information as well as to wavelength converters or correlated and entangled photon sources.
In this last domain, in connection with DIM SIRTEQ, we are particularly interested in:
-
- the emission of photon pairs and the conversionof single photons by nonlinear interactions in microstructered fibers filled with gas or liquids (Ph. Delaye)
- development of photon pair sources based on nanofibers (S. Lebrun)
