PhD: Quantum Information Theory

We are looking for a motivated PhD student in the field of quantum information theory, foundations of quantum theory, and quantum optics. The group is led by three PIs (Otfried Gühne, Matthias Kleinmann, and Stefan Nimmrichter) and the research topics include:

– theory of multiparticle entanglement and quantum steering,
– temporal quantum correlations and generalizedprobabilistic theories,
– thermodynamics of open quantum systems and quantum thermal machines

Applicants are expected to have a master / diploma in physics, experience in theoretical physics and interest in foundational questions of quantum mechanics.
