H/F / Quantum machine learning for experimental and theoretical nuclear and particle physics
The nuclear theory group Phynet of IJCLab (University Paris-Saclay-France) is opening a postdoc position for two years. The expected starting date is before the end of 2021. The position is a two years contract in CNRS.
The scientific project is devoted to the development of quantum machine learning (QML) algorithms for experimental and theoretical nuclear and particle physics. The project is at the frontier between physics and numeric and the candidate will be co-supervised by the IJCLab and the LRR team. During the project, the quantum machine learning algorithms will be applied to a variety of problems ranging from experimental events classification in multi-detectors like CMS or many-body theoretical problems.
