Impurity spins in solids to quantum technologies

18-19 October 2018

  • Cet évènement est passé

The spins18 workshop aims at bringing together researchers interested in the application of impurity spins in solids to quantum technologies. These impurity spins can be donors in silicon, defect centers in wide-band-gap materials (for instance NV centers in diamond), rare-earth ions in crystals… The long electronic and nuclear spin coherence times opens the way to applications in quantum information processing applications. A particular focus will be put on coupling these spin impurities to superconducting quantum circuits and resonators, for ultra-sensitive detection at low temperatures.

The workshop is supported by SIRTEQ and will take place from 18 to 19 October, at Domaine St-Paul, in St-Rémy-les-Chevreuse, 25km south-west of Paris. Please check the website of the event for inscription and more information about the program and the event.
