Quantum communications (COM)

It generalizes the methods of quantum cryptography, which eliminates the vulnerability of classical cryptography to attacks by classical or quantum supercomputers . Research is developing on the first hand to improve existing cryptography technologies and on the other hand to realize quantum repeaters for the globalization of a secure communications system.

This axis also includes sources and detectors of photons and entangled states, quantum memories, light-atom interfaces using hybrid or opto-mechanical systems.
