workshop PhD and Post doc how to manage your career

The DIM SIRTEQ offers a training “PhD and Post doc, how to manage your career to helppost docs and PhD students to find a job in private sector. The training will be held on May 14, 2018 at ENS Paris and will be in English.
The workshop will be animated by Mr. Jean Paul Hermann voluntarily. Mr Hermann is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, a physics graduate and doctor of science, CNRS bronze medaille. He was an assistant professor before joining Renault, where he worked in R & D and then in the Recruitment of Engineers and Managers department. He has organized this type of training more than 100 times in France and Belgium.

The purpose of this one-day training from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm is to help PhD students at the end of their thesis and post docs to:

– read a job offer and write a cover letter
– submit a spontaneous application
– make a successful interview
– avoid tricky questions
