PhD: Quantum turbulence in He and Bose-Einstein condensates: modeling and high performance numerical simulation
The thesis wil be carried out as part of the ANR QUTE-HPC project (January 2019 – December 2022), carried out by I. Danaila. This project is dedicated to modeling and high-performance simulation of superfluid systems, such as Bose-Einstein condensate or superfluid helium. It unites 10 permanent researchers at Rouen, Paris, Lyon, Poitiers and Grenobles, with skills in applied mathematics, physics and high-performance computing. The trainee will benefit of a stimulating scientific environment and will have the possibility to participate at many international collaborations (USA, UK, Japan) established in the context of the project.
